Practice Requirements & Limitations

1. All practices must be scheduled in advance and assigned by GPAA.
2. Any parent/guardian attending practices must remain off the field unless they are coaching.

Health of All Participants

1. Any participant experiencing COVID-19 symptoms are recommended to contact their primary physician for further evaluation and follow all CDC and/or IDPH COVID-19 guidelines.
2. Please report positive COVID-19 cases to your coach(es) and follow current state and local guidelines in quarantining.

Symptoms can include:
- Fever (taken medicine to reduce fever)
- Cough (new or worsening)
- Shortness of Breath
- Loss of Smell or Taste Within Last 14 Days
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Constant Fatigue

1. Coaches should notify the league commissioner of any participants with COVID-19 symptoms and follow IDPH protocols.
2. All participants should bring their own source of water and not share.

Gompers Park Athletic Association has been referring to the Illinois Department of Public Health for guidance.  Executive Order 2022-06 issued on February 28, 2022, ended universal indoor masking requirements, including in schools and in public indoor settings where sports-related activities are held. All individuals may engage in sports-related activities, both indoors and outdoors, without wearing a mask, except where otherwise required by laws, rules, regulations or facility policies, including local business and workplace policies.

1. Participants should use their own equipment as much as possible.
2. Belongings should be clearly labeled.
