The Gompers Park Athletic Association is a youth baseball and softball league serving Chicago’s Northwest Side for almost 50 years. Our goal is to provide an affordable opportunity for kids to learn baseball and softball in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment. Our all-volunteer board of directors and coaching staff provides instruction on the fundamentals of the game, including teamwork and sportsmanship. We believe in healthy competition, and we do keep score and have a playoff each season (except for our youngest division). We believe that kids who learn how to play a role on a team, to win and lose with grace, and to support their teammates have a wonderful opportunity to become successful adults.

We provide 8 divisions of house league baseball, softball and T-ball for players between ages 5-17. Each division has age-appropriate rules to align with different stages of development.
